In the final of U66kg at the 2017 Suzuki World Championships,ABE was dominating against Mikhail PULYAEV (RUS) who unfortunate lost his third final at the World Championships. Stunning ippon by ABE came very soon, superb sode-tsurikomi-goshi. What a day this was for Japanese teenager. To prove that his throw in final was not by accident, Georgii ZANTARAIA of Ukraine was in same situation as PULYAEV.

"There are two parts inside of me, one of them is happines, the other is I'm very relived, but of course the bigger part is happines. There were several feeling to prepare for this world championships, but I think I came here at my top and I could make my own judo.
