Two years after her Olympic bronze medal, Rosalba Forciniti is still confused and walking on pink clouds. Today was a good moment to thank everyone in her environment who was present at her greatest judo day.

The former "Bad" judoka, as she calls herself was the surprise of the second day of the Olympic Games U52kg.

Forciniti: "Two years ago I was aware of what was happening to me but it's still hard to deal with that mix of emotions that awaited me. It was strong, it was huge and I knew nothing...I just know that I was the happiest girl in the world. That day I woke up happy, I went to the Excel Arena with my trolley, I just smiled and everything was perfect! The greetings before the everything started from family who were in the stands, who travelled far to support me. I realised towards the end of the day that I was truly participating at the Olympic Games. It was a confusing day and some things I even don't remember, believe me. No emotion equals that, no feeling. I'm lucky because everyone was there. I remember the eyes of my mom and dad and my sisters who cried of joy, it was priceless!"

"To date, I can firmly say that the merit is yours, an immense thanks to family!"
